METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER - State of Play Gameplay Trailer
METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER was the talk of the State of Play 2025 yesterday. The remake of the classic MGS3: Snake Eater, developed by Konami and Virtuos, takes us back to America in the 1960s (hello, Cold War), where Naked Snake must infiltrate the Soviet jungle and foil a nuclear plot.
The trailer returns to the fundamentals of the series: infiltration, survival in a hostile environment and battles with iconic bosses such as Ocelot, The End and Volgin.
Here we see the impressive graphical overhaul made possible by the Unreal Engine, detailed environments and a Snake who's more realistic than ever. He crawls, camouflages himself in mud or foliage and even leaves permanent traces of damage.
Among the new features, the trailer confirms the return of the cult mini-game ‘Snake vs. Monkey’, as well as the possibility of opting for modernised gameplay or reverting to the controls of the original game. Finally, a nod to Metal Gear Online, is this a teaser for the return of multiplayer?
Scheduled for release on 28 August 2025, METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER is available to pre-order with a bonus on Gamesplanet. Take advantage of a 20% discount on the Standard or Deluxe edition.
