Comes in a zip file from aerosoft/ us with an activation key (non steam).

so therefore I wouldn't be able to use these as I cant unzip items or can the key be used on the steam game site

I am not sure why you are unable to unzip files, Windows allows you to unzip files :)

The addon will work with the Steam version (as noted on our page).
