Shadow of War DLC - Release Roadmap revealed, new content coming November 21st

Monolith Productions reveal the plans for their forthcoming DLC for the open world sequel Middle-earth: Shadow of War, starting with free and paid DLC from next week on November 21st.

Shadow of War has already been out for a month, but that isn't slowing down the developers as they continue to work on new content for the game. Today they have given a few release dates for future content that players can look forward to in the game, with both free and paid DLC content coming their way. And they won't have to wait long either, as a paid DLC Expansion and a few free updates are arriving on November 21st. Then next month players get another paid DLC when the second Nemesis Expansion arrives, as well as 2 more free updates. Finally, two story expansions will be released in 2018 with the Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion launching in February, and the Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion arriving in May.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War DLC Roadmap

Free Updates:
November 21st 2017

• Endless Siege: Defend your fortresses against Sauron's forces as the Dark Lord tries to reclaim Mordor in the Endless Siege.
• Rebellion: Crush the rebel Orcs and Uruks in your forces as they seek to undermine the Bright Lord.
• Enhanced Photo Mode: Capture every battle and siege and apply new filters, frames, and textures with the Enhanced Photo Mode update.

December 5th 2017

• Online Fight Pits: Challenge another player's Orc follower. Overlord vs. Overlord, to a fight to the death in the arena to earn powerful rewards and upgrades.

December 12th 2017

• Brutal Difficulty: A new higher difficulty level even more challenging than Nemesis with no last chances.

Plus even more free updates to come in 2018.

Expansion Pass Content:
November 21st 2017

• Slaughter Tribe Nemesis World Expansion: featuring a brand new tribe, fortresses, missions, Legendary gear set, upgrade challenges and conquest activities.

December 12th 2017

• Outlaw Tribe Nemesis World Expansion: featuring a brand new tribe, fortresses, missions, Legendary gear set, upgrade challenges and conquest activities.

February 2018

• Blade of Galadriel Story Expansion: Play as Eltariel and encounter new campaign missions and enemies.

May 2018

• Desolation of Mordor Story Expansion: Play as Baranor and encounter new campaign missions, a new region and new survival mode.

All versions of the Middle-earth: Shadow of War will get the Free updates, but if you want to get the Expansion Pass content then you will need to purchase it. You can also get parts of it such as the Nemesis Expansions with the Silver Edition or get the Gold Edition which includes all the content (including the Expansion Pass).
