StarCraft Remastered coming to PC on August 14th, with support for 4k, improved sound and cloud saves

Blizzard Entertainment announces the release date for the RTS Action game StarCraft Remastered, launching on August 14th. Includes support for 4k, new matchmaking and cloud saves.

A few months back Blizzard Entertainment updated the original StarCraft and it's expansion Brood War to support modern hardware. Not only that, but they gave both away for free to celebrate it's popularity in the gaming scene. At the same time, the company announced a Remastered version for the highly popular Space RTS hit from 1998 which would add in new visuals and much more. Now we've finally got a launch date and a price for when we can expect to play the updated classic, with a release coming to PC and MAC on August 14th for a low price of £12.99.

If you can't to get your hands on the Classic version of StarCraft, you can grab the PC or MAC versions from the Blizzard Site. So you'll have something to play while you wait for the Remasterd version in August!
