Leave your compass behind and join Luffy as he embarks on a brand new action-packed adventure where you can experience the powers of the legendary Gum-Gum fruit to uncover hidden secrets on an original, never-before-seen island!
The language section makes it seem like it supports Japanese, when it does not. The Steam version has Japanese audio, but no means of actually playing in Japanese with a Japanese interface. Sucks since I wanna play in the original language, but don't want to be forced to play the PS4 version for that.
Yeah that's the setup steam has, sadly we have the same language support as steam. Maybe there's a way to patch it but if you are unhappy you can contact us via [email protected]
On Steam it's at least clear there's only full audio support for Japanese but not interface or subtitles, due to the column layout where you can see which language has what. On this website's page, only the other languages have asterisks to highlight that they only have subtitle/interface support, but Japanese has no asterisk despite only having audio support.
I think it would be really helpful if an asterisk could be added to languages that only have audio but not subtitle/interface support, so others don't make the mistake of purchasing a game that's listed as having "Japanese" with no asterisk when it only has Japanese audio.
That's a limitation of the store set up, we don't have a way to select "audio only". I get it's a bit confusing, but due to limitations of the store it's the best we can do right now. But as I said, we're not monsters and if you're unhappy contact our support.
We would like to improve the language support on the site in the future but we're a small team and don't have an ETA on when that'll be. Your feedback is appreciated though!
Thanks for considering this! I apologize if it wasn't clear, but I am not unhappy with your services, and I was already aware of the lack of Japanese support before making my purchase. My intention with the comment was to warn others considering buying the game thinking it had Japanese support when it doesn't, and in the best case scenario, have the issue with the language display be addressed and eventually fixed. I'm not an unhappy customer, just a customer with feedback.
Fair enough. I did pass on your feedback to our website team, not sure if we can do something short term but we'll take it on board. Hope you enjoy the game!
