REANIMAL, the new co-op adventure from Tarsier Studios—the Swedish minds behind Little Nightmares I & II—has a real treat in store for you just in time for Valentine's Day.
The game, in which you accompany a pair of siblings through a dark nightmare world, will be released on February 13. Perfect for playing together locally or online on the day of love. Especially cool: the game uses the Steam Friend's Pass, just like Little Nightmares III.
What exactly is the Steam Friend's Pass?
Simply put, once you've purchased the game, you can invite someone from your friends list to play with you completely free of charge – even if they don't own the game themselves.
Here's how it works:
You start a co-op round and create an invitation directly in the game. Your companion downloads the “Friend's Pass” version of the game on Steam, enters the invitation code, and you're ready to play together.
A small damper in advance: The developers have confirmed the feature, but unfortunately it is not yet 100% certain whether it will actually be ready in time for the release on February 13...
