Red Dead Redemption 2 gets pushed back to Spring 2018, New Screens Emerge

Rockstar have pushed back Red Dead Redemption 2 to Spring 2018 to allow further polish on the much anticipated sequel, releases new screenshots to ease the wait.

It was a nice surprise when Rockstar Games announced they would be releasing a sequel to the 2010 action game Red Dead Redemption, with Red Dead Redemption 2 getting a tentative release for Holiday 2017. However it now seems that the western may need more time in the oven before it's ready to be consumed by the hungry fans that are wanting to dive into the next chapter.

We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer. In the meantime, please enjoy this selection of new screenshots from the world of Red Dead Redemption 2.

While it's a disappointment that the game has been delayed, it's not all bad as Rockstar Games have given us some fresh screenshots which reveal a little more about the setting and how we may be able to dual wield weapons in the sequel like a true gunslinger in the west. Red Dead Redemption 2 is out in Spring 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One, still no word on that PC release though!
