Lara Croft is back later this year when Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches on September 14th, and will see our heroine tackle Trinity once more as she explores lost a civilization to prevent the Mayan apocalypse. One of the locations Lara will visit is the lost city of Paititi, which is home to a civilization that's been untouched by the modern world. It will feature the largest hub ever found in a Tomb Raider game complete with challenge tombs, side missions and more to discover!
In this new developer walkthrough we get a look at the city in all it's splendor as Narrative Director Jason Dozois gives us a glimpse at what awaits us on September 14th. Like in Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara can use her Archaeological skills to decipher murals which can lead to treasure and other hidden secrets. As she explores the city she'll come across people requiring aide and by offering help players will be able to unlock new weapons, items and more. Helping others will also provide new information for the overall story.
