I would very much like you to explain, in detail, how to play a steam game and not be online. As to your question; nothing in life is free, my friend. Best example, Google started as a search engine, and sold every search you and the world made. Look at them now, Facebook same thing. Tell me just how wealthy is Zuckerman, for giving away something for free? And that's why I do not wish to subscribe to Steam. I give away far to much privacy with my Android=Google phone, I'll not perpetuate the theft within my computer.
replyHere's the support article for you on how to play Steam in offline mode https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3160-agcb-2555
replyNot a worry, I acquired a copy of Steel Division & discovered for myself it doesn't need to be connected to Steam, While searching for this & that, I also discovered one of your competitors offers both Steam & Windows versions. Thanks for your help anyway.
