Unless you've been downloading questionable programs/content from certain websites its unlikely it'll happen to you. Feel free to use an Anti Malware program to scan your PC though.

Purchased, it's downloading now. So happy I can finally play this after the long long wait. So sad about this Steam issue, Rich made it with such a passion. They really did him wrong there.
