I bought tekken 7 here and I play in Japan.
replyhowever, it keeps failing to synchronize with people who play in Japan.
Even I play this in Japan, sometimes I see people who play in japan with only one signal and end up failing to synchronize.
Is this game soft different from steam sold in Japan and cannnot play with them ?

replyThere is just 1 Steam version. This would be the same if you had purchased directly from Steam. Are you talking about a poor internet connection? Or a poor latency issue (ping)?

I'm not expert on this issue so that I cannot tell what is the root cause.
However, the fact is that there are some matches available people who live in foreign countries like korea and Taiwan but Japan.
Can you not find anyone with 4-5 bars? The servers on Tekken 7 are peer to peer, and all latency is the same on both sides for a fairer fight. There are no regional specific versions of this game. It will pit you against the closest fighters, choose the ones with the highest bars.

replyAs I invite my friend who live in same region, it shows only 1 bar and end up with connection error. I asked Bandai Namco on this issue, but I dont get their reply yet.
I can find someone with 4-5 bars on ranked matches( you don't have to invite on this mode) but most of them don't live in Japan so that it's a little laggy.
What I want to do is to play Tekken with my friends who live in same region. :(
It could possibly be resolved if you both switched regions for the game but that seems like it may not help you much. Will dig the issue more for you, please keep us updated and see if Bandai can help you out in the meantime.
