I've played and LOVE this game but wanna buy it here to play the DLC (and support the devs). Could I transfer my save file from the Epic version to this one?

I believe it depends on the DLC you have, if you're doing the base game it might be ok. Would recommend speaking with Frogwares to confirm :)

Just bought and played this game, no issues. Can not activated in Steam but can download then play in Steam. Nice game, having more languages options. Check steam for more details.

Hope you enjoy the game :)

While we do not have Steam keys, we're working directly with Frogwares and by purchasing with us you support their future projects.

I purchased the game from Gamesplanet UK as a direct download, but after installing it the game begins to load the boot screen and drops back to the desktop. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, did they find a solution? Thanks

one of the best games i ever played. it is MASSIVE. it took me 4 months to finish it, however i played all side cases and loved it. (those who decide not to play side cases will miss a lot of fun and a lot of playing hours). i loved the characters, the story, the atmosphere, the graphics well, just everything about it. i did however have to contact Frogwares as it stated that it plays on Windows 7 when i bought it, however it did not play on mine. Frogwares sent me some additional files after which the game worked on Windows 7. they went out of their way to help me although they could just refund me. thank you Frogwares for this amazing game and for helping me to play it !

@CraigB

i would love to play it but it is not working on Windows 7 with DX11 and off line download. i bought it on GOG, have done an off line download but it did not want to launch. it kept telling me that i didn't have DX12 which indeed i didn't have. i have been hacked in the past through online playing platforms and will not risk this happening again to me. so i asked for refund. sadly. not sure why Frogwares did not think about many of us who still keep Windows 7 for many reasons.

Personally I am tempted to Buy The Sinking City - Deluxe Edition as Direct Download at Gamesplanet.com while it's on offer.
However I have decided against it knowing that I can not get all the DLCs from Gamesplanet.com . I understand that I get a DRM FREE download here which is great but I would feel that it would be a waste of money unless I knew for sure that I could get the missing DLCs from Frogware for a very nice price - and I can have to be bothered to investigate that by having to contact Frogware myself !

We know, we've reached out to Frogwares to see if we can do something about it. Will keep you updated :)

Appreciate your interest in the dlc and we'll see what happens.

Stick with the main mission and it's a decent game. If you go side questing you'll wind up walk simulating.

i don't agree. there is so much more to the game if you play all side cases. and a lot of additional playing hours.

Interesting. Think I might follow your advice as I've been trying to follow side quests and it made me put off the game but the main storyline was interesting indeed. Maybe I should get back to it and just go with the story. I hate he feeling of missing out when not doing side missions though :D

Sadly not, Deluxe only contains the following:

The Sinking City
The Worshipers of the Necronomicon DLC: 3 side quests with the infamous Necronomicon and new monsters
Merciful Madness DLC.

@CraigB

If you buy the game on Origin then you can buy the DLCs as AddOn.
Of course the buying DRM FREE on gamesplanet.com would be vastly superior if you can get the DLCs directly from Frogware at a reasonably price !?!?
