A Behind the Scenes look at The Surge
Just under 2 weeks to go until we get the brand new action RPG The Surge, and now the developers at Deck13 are treating us to a behind the scenes look at the game to show what awaits us when we dive into it at launch! Hear how they brought this near future Sci-Fi world to life, which tackles issues of environmental destruction, corporatism and misuse of technology relevant to our own world.
You will play as Warren, an exo suited soldier who must infiltrate the tech company CREO's base of operations to stop the robots from rising up (sounds a little like the Terminator movies and Skynet). Using the game's limb targeting system, players will be able to find an enemies weakness and exploit it to gain the upper hand in battle. With great risk comes great rewards, if you decide you want to go in search of better gear then you will be able to do that - but be warned as enemies will be stronger (should you risk everything).
