The Surge Patch Announced - Workarounds to Launch Bugs
The Surge runs quite well on most systems, though a few little Bugs are causing problems for some players. Deck13 have provided some possible workarounds while they work on a patch.
The Action RPG The Surge is finally upon us, and it seems to be a great port thus far (with only minor issues on higher end cards running at 4k, but that's a nitpick). For the most part gamers can expect a detailed options menu that can tweak the game, yet some people are running into trouble - but that's where the developers step in. Deck13 are focusing on the following problems, some of which were provided by gamers and have offered possible workarounds while they work on a patch to fifx things.
My only complaint with the game is that it resets your colour profile for Windows when you exit it, but this issue has existed in other titles and is related to Nvidia's drivers.
The Surge: Known Problems and Workarounds
- The game might be blocked if you close it after breaking the glass without getting the exoskeleton in Management's Operations. Please do not close the game after breaking the glass without looting the rig.
- When reaching NG+, pieces of armor might be marked as equipped even though they aren't. To fix this, equip another piece of armor where the stuck one should be.
- Minor targeting issue against the first boss forcing you to lock his upper body even though it is standing up.
