The Division Day event hosted by Ubisoft in April 2023 showcased many updates for The Division franchise. The Division 2 is entering its 5th year, and as part of that, you have the opportunity to play the game for free and unrestricted over the weekend (May 18th to 22nd).
The 5th year kicks off with the first season called Broken Wings. The new Manhunt target is Mari Singh, the former director of the DC Aquarium. This time, the objective is to rescue the civilians taken hostage by Natalya Sokolova and the Black Tusk. The update introduces the "Descent" game mode, a free rogue-lite mode where you start without gear and make progress throughout the game.
