@Voyager_NL This is a Uplay code (check product details) so it wont work on Steam. You can always add a non-steam game to your library and your steam friends will see that you are playing the game. And you can add your steam friends to your Uplay friends list as long as they have their accounts linked.

It's normal that it does not say "Gold Edition" in Uplay, games never do that. It's just the standard edition. And the Season Pass content will show up once it exists ;)
