Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 and the Return of the Necrons in a CGI Trailer

The alarm has gone off. A new CGI trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 shows the Necrons awakening on Kronus after millions of years of slumber.

Something is stirring beneath the surface of Kronus, and it’s massive: The latest cinematic trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV focuses on the Necrons, the faction that once traded their bodies for immortal mechanical shells, sacrificing their souls in the process. Led by Chronomant Thothmek, the Szarekhan Dynasty awakens after 60 million years of slumber and is anything but pleased to see the Space Marines and Orks who have since taken over “their” planet. The clip ends with a full Necron fleet marching across Kronus.

For you, that means: four factions, one planet, and plenty of trouble. Dawn of War 4 will be released on September 17th 2026, for PC. purchasers of the Commander Edition can get started as early as September 14th thanks to three days of advanced access.
