URBAN JUNGLE
New York City is being overrun by hostile groups trying to take advantage of the crisis. Beware of the thugs who roam in packs through the city, preying on the weak. Fight against the Cleaners, who wear hazmat suits and wield flame throwers, set on cleaning New York from the virus by burning everything and everyone. Engage with the Rikers, a gang of convicts that escaped Rikers Island when the chaos hit, and who are ravaging the city and vying for its control.

CUTTING-EDGE TECH
Choose and upgrade your skills, and synergize with your teammates to increase your chances of winning in combat. Switch your skills such as the seeker mine that finds your enemy and explodes; the turret that triggers high-octane and efficient diversion; or the pulse that gives you a tactical read on your environment. Use the ECHO tech, a data collection tool that renders moments frozen in time, to learn valuable information about your immediate environment and find hidden loot, and help uncover the truth behind the pandemic.
SEAMLESS MULTIPLAYER: THE DARK ZONE
Enter the Dark Zone, a walled-off quarantine zone in the middle of Manhattan where the most valuable loot was left behind when the military evacuated. It’s also the most dangerous area in the game, where fear, betrayal, and tensions are high. Team up with other players to take down your enemies and extract legendary loot via helicopter. It’s your choice to collaborate with other agents, or attack them and steal their loot.

Yeah, even if it wasn't your intention to mislead people it's awfully strange to see the discount already changed when just a few days ago we were told that it was going to stay the same till release if not longer... I was holding off my buy because of that statement, and now you've lost it officially, deal or not, I'd rather have the have a guaranteed purchase for the full price and I bet many others will to :/
replyCraig, intention or not you did mislead people. Its really quite simple. One post says its going to stay 30% till release and there's no post giving a heads up about a possible price increase.

replyAt that price is more cheaper buy the normal game and the seasson pass in other stores. You save 10$ aprox.
replyI do find it kinda suspicious, that there is a comment from a team member dated 2 days ago, feb. 13. 2016, saying that the 30% discount would last at LEAST until release - and then on the week of the open beta the price increases by 5% - I know it's "only" about 3.5 pounds increase - its more the principle of it!

Yeah, after this "mishap" I wouldn't believe anything these guys are saying. Not their fault, of course, they're just doing their jobs. Big dick move on higher-ups' part, however.
replyAnyway, one positive is this whole situation made me completely rethink pre-ordering, which I strongly suggest you do as well. If the game is good, buy it at launch. It's just a gamble otherwise. And you know what they say, casino always wins.
