Carve a path of destruction through an intense battlefield in For Honor. Choose your warrior amongst a variety of bold Knights, brutal Vikings and deadly Samurai.
You will not be able to play For Honor through anything but Uplay. If you were to get the Steam key, that would only mean that the game would also be in your Steam library.
You would have to open Steam, click For Honor, which would then open Uplay and then launch For Honor.
Yeah I get that but it's nicer to not have to open Uplay directly. I like having my games in one place and use the steam interface instead of shitty Uplay
You can technically still do that, if you add the game to Steam as a shortcut. You'll get the overlay and be able to launch it just like you would a Steam game.
Yeah technically, but then it would be a non-steam game. I would still rather have the game on steam so I can track my achievements and game hours on steam.
I guess so :) I will probably wait on reviews though because you never know with Ubisoft. Oh and by the way, I was thinking of buying Tekken 7 from you guys but it's not released until June 2nd, so I was wondering when do I get the key?
Can confirm the uplay through steam issue on past ubisoft titles. I've bought steam versions of uplay games in the past and they just install and launch uplay client, then the game from it when you hit play in steam.
Sorry we don't have anything beyond Uplay keys, if you want to get a Steam version of the game the only place you can do that is via Steam itself. Either way all versions will still require Uplay and you'll still be able to play with people who play on Steam.

Is it possible to buy a For Honor steam key instead of an Uplay key from you?

replyI get that, well I guess you'll have to purchase it from Steam then since it's the only way of getting it on the platform :P

replyNormally a few days before launch, usually when a preload happens (if one does).
replyOkay, thanks for all the help!
replyI see. I just wanted to make sure you didn't think you could bypass Uplay by buying it on Steam.
