@ Lithium- thanks for the suggestion- my Windows username is simply my first name in plain letters, so not that.
When you say use a different browser what do you mean? I can log onto R* social club fine online, it is the browser that is crashing every time!

R* support have not responded beyond their first cut & paste answer (video drivers, AV, etc etc) over 48 hours ago- very frustrating- I am considering buying GTA V again from Steam to get a working title- but I dont see why I should have to!
Not happy!!!!!

Actually I've just read that the Windows user name trick also worked with his crashing launcher

If the Rockstar launcher is crashing, you might try using a different browser, it's worked for some. It it's infinitely loading it could be related to your Windows user name. If you have special accents or characters outside of the English language you can rename it which has also worked for some. I hope it helps those few of you with this problem
