Hi, Yes it seems the game is not yet optomised to work with ultra wide monitors. Are you able to play normally by what you said? Starting up in 1920x1080, then changing once in-game?

No. Once I've changed the resolution to 21:9 the game plays at 20-25 FPS and stutters. It's completely unplayable on my system. I've bought a dead duck.

How does it run if you keep it at 1080p? I know that's not the ideal solution, but do you get at least 60 frames there?

No, I still get 20-25 FPS when running at 1080p. Changing all the settings to low makes no difference whatsoever. I'm just playing Battlefield 1 at the moment on the highest ultra settings and getting over 100FPS. I'll start playing Mafia 3 when they've put out a patch.
