Soooooooo, GMG has this game for -20% off via pre-ordering. I'd really like to know if you guys are going to do something similar as I'd much rather support you than them. Would be nice to know what's up so I don't miss out.

I believe I got the same recent email and the GMG sale goes through the 20th so we have a little more time. Also consider that games planet sold For Honor at the price point of $40 US a few days pre release so the prices they manage to pass on are usually amazing. Finally, understand they may only sell keys that are region locked requiring a vpn to activate and in that case you might not be able to play till the UK release of the 23rd.

We don't have any information on region locks and at least for the past decade, european keys have never been locked. You surely won't need a VPN to activate or purchase.

For region locking I was referencing other games you have sold including For Honor which has keys locked to "Europe, Africa, Middle-East, Oceania, Japan & South Korea." activation per your info page on the game. I personally used a vpn to unlock a key I bought from you because it would not activate in the US.

The March 23 release is for Africa, Australia, Brazil, Europe, Israel, Middle East, and New Zealand. If the keys you purchase are from one of these regions then activation and release date could be locked to the region.

I am sure you know more than me but your statement about European key never being lock seemed misleading because I was talking as someone in the US and those keys are locked from my use unless I activate through a VPN.

We're talking about a game from EA, to be activated on Origin. Thought it would be clear my statement on "no locks for the past decade" was based on EA games only and not a general thing incl. Uplay, Steam, etc. ;)
