Region locked?
I plan on buying from North America and was just wondering if the key here being sold will be exclusive to the EU region?

No, it's not exclusive to the EU region. It can be used worldwide.
There are some special regions set up, such as Russia, Brazil, etc. Those keys would be locked. Keys sold in Europe and NA are not affected from restrictions.
In case that'll change prior to release, rest assured we won't leave you behind but issue a full refund.
