Yea, it's the case for close to everyone today. Team members here are having the same experience. We have to wait for Ubisoft to resolve the issue, not much more we can do really. I'd wish we could though.

So a VPN is required? Even after Ubisoft (if they do) resolves the issue on the UK keys, I would still need to use a VPN to get to UK to redeem my hazmat?

No, surely not. A VPN shall never by required. We provided global keys and they worked for weeks and months. Ubi US decided not to accept any more keys to be redeemed on the US page, while the EU pages were still up and running.

It didn't make any difference at all where gamers went to redeem but as of lately there seems to be a region lock on the websites -- not keys. The situation is frustrating and very annoying. We have to wait for Ubi to fix the issue. By then, you'll have Hazmat and there will be no need for any VPN or other weird stuff to get access to the content you paid for.
