i don't know about that,but i heard that people get steam-banned(or steam retrive the key) cause they bought the key from wrong region and tried to activate it ..
replyso if the key isn't for this region, player cannot activate it ??
This never happens... put simply - you heard wrong ;) If a game is region locked for example to Europe and you try to activate from the US, it just won't work. But for this game there is no region lock.
