Hey there! That usually happens when you don't yet have the main game activated on your Uplay account. Do you have The Crew?
replyHello, Lithium!
replyI submitted my report to Ubi. It is a very complicated problem. The thing is that I had two versions of The Crew on my account: The Crew (Russian), which I never use, and The Crew + The Crew: Wild Run (Worldwide). When I activated the key, the client returned nothing; and I could not see the DLC added to my Worldwide version. I relogged, and I can no longer log in to the Uplay account(!). I assume that adding the DLC key messed up my account, inasmuch as it tried figuring out to which version it should attach. Now, I am stuck with no Uplay, no games, no Crew. However, I have had positive experience with the Ubisoft help team; and I hope they will help to resolve it: on the downside, it takes weeks sometimes...
It is also funny how I got the Russian version: I bought it from an official European retailer who advertised it as an English (Worldwide) version. I had to contact Ubi who would tell me that it was a Russian key, and then contact the seller to get the Worldwide key for no extra charge. Therefore, I have had two versions on my account...
replyWhich official European retailer was that? I doubt they are very official if they sold you a Russian key.
replyIt was Gamersgate (listed as official on Ubi), but it was their honest glitch in the system or description; and they fixed it immediately after sending me the correct key. I shall buy from them anytime, as they are a professional service.
replyBasically, I suspect that I need a member of Ubi detach and reattach the DLC to the correct game version in order to use Uplay services (the key was consumed).
replyYes I think that's the only option here, us at Gamesplanet have no access to your Uplay account, only Ubisoft do
replyAll was fixed automatically. The system still shows that I do not own Calling All Units on one screen, whereas on the other I do own it; but the game works with the DLC: that is what matters! Thank you!
replyThat's great news! Ubi didn't do anything? It just solved itself?
replyYes, this is weird. It still has some minor bug (on Ubi's side) with showing its absence on one page; but it works!
