replyOn g2play, there are information that playing and activating is restricted in Japan as follows.
This is a restricted product and it CANNOT be activated nor played in Japan.
Could someone confirm above news is also true or not for the steam key from GamesPLanet?
I'm just planning to buy this from GamesPlanet, so I'm wondering what is true.
replyHave now tried making a purchase from Japan. Registered to Steam as RESIDENT EVIL 7. Which means there is no block preventing activation for customers in Japan. Downloaded without a problem and launched also with no problem. So yes, keys sold here can be activated and played in Japan.
replyNo idea what they are selling but be sure our keys do work everywhere without any restrictions. I've checked the package right now – no flags added, no restrictions, just pure playing fun for everybody!
Also… Unlike other stores, we refund everybody who might be trapped with regional restrictions. So no risk at all with us (whereas this refund will not be needed for RE7).
