I thought I read people talking about preloading already on Steam, does that mean keys have been sent out?
replyYes and no.
The game has already been released in Japan in March by the developer FromSoftware. The game is published by BandaiNamco in the rest of the world though. As far as I could gather BandaiNamco is holding the release back outside of Japan, because their new financial year started in April (the sales of DS3 will make this financial year look better for investors).
The game is pretty much done though, although we will see a day-1-patch on the 12th. So long story short:
replyThey sent out keys to basically every bigger youtuber and streamer for marketing purposes and allow them to play and show content. That is why you can watch gameplay on Twitch and Youtube and read about it on forums and in the press. The "normal" people will have to wait till the 12th, though.
Can I pre order two copies, and gift one key to my friend? or is there a gift option I somehow completely missed?
replySure you can purchase 2 copies, you will need to checkout twice though.

replyWe're waiting for a preload notice to appear, as soon as that happens we'll be able to send them out. Should be at the end of the week all being well.

replyNew customer here, are there any possible issues I'll encounter in purchasing two pre-order copies? I'm hoping to buy one for myself and my co-op buddy as a surprise, but I am not familiar with however Gamesplanet handles key distributions for multiple purchases of one product, if at all.
replyHey, no there isn't any issue at all and giving us a heads up always helps.
You'll need to checkout twice though as we don't support multiple copies in your cart at this time.
replyI was about to complete my payment via paypal when i noticed that instead of converting the currency of euros to canadian money, paypal converted pounds to canadian instead which ends up costing me about 15$ more.
Is this normal?
replyHey -- the UK store does not have euros but british pounds only. It's thus normal that PayPal converts those for you.
