Buy Resident Evil 4 as a Steam key at Gamesplanet.com
Survival is just the beginning.
Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City. Agent Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors of the incident, has been sent to rescue the president's kidnapped daughter. He tracks her to a secluded European village, where there is something terribly wrong with the locals. And the curtain rises on this story of daring rescue and grueling horror where life and death, terror and catharsis intersect.
Featuring modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics, Resident Evil 4 marks the rebirth of an industry juggernaut.
Relive the nightmare that revolutionized survival horror.
In Japan, you can't buy the US version, but you can buy the UK version.
replyAre there any differences between the UK and US versions?
Are the restrictions lifted in the US and UK versions?
The US version can only be activated in US and Canada, but the UK version doesn't have that restriction :)
replyI would like to purchase the global DLC when it is released, but I already purchased the Japanese version of the DLC by mistake and it is currently unplayable.
replyIf I purchase the global version, will I be able to play it?
We don't know right now, as mentioned on the store page it may work with the same version, but we'll have to wait until we have the DLC from Capcom, which should be sometime this week hopefully.
replyIs there a difference between gamesplanet us and gamesplanet uk? If you use the US site, you cannot activate from Japan.
replyKeys on the US store will now only work in the US and Canada. UK store keys work in more regions.
replythank you. Are there any differences in expression regulations, etc.?
replyAre there any plans to sell the DLC Separate Ways?
replyHi there. Unfortunately we are awaiting further info from Capcom but it is likely that we will have it next week. :(
replyHuh, honesty didn't expect to see a answer to that question when I came to the site to see if I could find a code for the DLC. ill wait then
replyHey all,
The keys for Resident Evil 4 have already arrived and are waiting in our database to be distributed to our pre-order customers.
Capcom has set the time for sending out the keys to the release at 00:00 GMT (March 24th for the UK store). The keys will then go out to you and land in your Gamesplanet account within a few minutes.
Unfortunately, Capcom has not planned a preload for Resident Evil 4 - sorry.
Don't let the waiting time get too long.
Many greetings, Gamesplanet
replyHow long do I have to wait to receive the key?
replyIm japanese
I was careless.
replyI forgot that there is a time difference between the U.S. and Japan.
Please ignore this comment.
Hi, any info on when the keys will drop?
replyWe cannot say it depends on the publisher, generally it's a few days before release during a preload if one happens. Might be in the middle of the week.
We've been working with capcom for many years and had no issues previously delivering on time.
replyWhen can I play the game if I buy it in Japan? Is it Japan time or overseas time?
replyRelease time has yet to be confirmed by Capcom, but I imagine it'll be a global unlock release like other titles from the publisher.
replyDoes a global unlocked release mean simultaneous worldwide distribution
